I used to be weird about spelling, borderline grammar-nazi!! When writing a reply or LJ post, I'm usually pretty good. I just got in the habit of using net-slang when i got texting on my phone, mostly because a quick message at work is exactly that, QUICK! If that is the case i don't think twice to use slang.

My pet peeve is people who just can't SPEAK properly in forums, not even using netspeak!
