[Braska is curled up in a chair in the library when his PORTAL-sphere decides to turn itself on today. There's a book in his hand and one in his lap, and their covers look something like this and this. Yes, really. He reads contently for a while, his expression peaceful and relaxed. He notices his PORTAL is on out of the corner of his eye when he turns a page. Oh. Whoops. Well then. Braska looks up and smiles at the sphere.]

Hello! It looks like my PORTAL has decided to show you my secret hiding place. [He laughs.] Curses. My peaceful afternoon, ruined~. [He doesn't seem to mind much.]

You know, recently, I began to wonder about something. What forms of entertainment are most popular in your worlds? On mine, there was always reading, but there weren't so many books written for entertainment's sake, unfortunately. The most popular thing people played and watched for fun is a sport called blitzball. It's played underwater, and there are two goals on either end that the teams must try to get the ball through. It's very exciting! I don't think there is a soul on Spira that doesn't love it.

I'm sure that must seem strange to some of you, but... My world wasn't the happiest or the safest, to put it simply. It was under attack from a great monster we called Sin. It lived in the sea, primarily, though it could also fly, and attacked ships and villages constantly. Between Sin and the fiends, there was always a reason to mourn and to be fearful. Blitzball was something that allowed the people to get their minds off of their sorrow and pain, if only for a little while. This is why it was so important to us.

In any case! Enough about me and mine. I want to hear about what you did -- and do -- for fun!
