 [Hi Prom, broadcasting live from the Date manor is the lord of the place himself kneeling down, but it's not until you see a grey-black head poke out from behind that you see the actual reason why he's in that particular position.

There's actually a small dish sitting in front of him with milk, and there's a few cats that are gathered around it,

Masamune shakes his head with a small smirk.]

Haah?

... no, they're just strays.

[Even for all the time he's been here, these stupid PORTALS somehow catch him off-guard.]

I'd rather let them come and go as they please. Besides, I wouldn't be too happy if I was kept somewhere I'd rather not be.

[And a small twinge of irritation at that last part - though that has nothing to do with the cats and is more referring to the whole problem of being stuck here.]

[ adept at picking up on small hints of emotion, Sora half laughs, folding his arms behind his head. ]

[Masamune lets out a grunt at that, his expression quickly turning sour. :T He's got fights back home, and despite everything that's happened here, that was where he needed to be.]

I know how you feel. I guess a lotta people here do.

The mirrors don't help, they just creep everyone out by how crazy it is to see yourself doing something without you there.

[His eye narrows at that, but he's interrupted as one of the cats starts rubbing against his legs.]

Though I guess there has been some good things to come out of being here.

[ he almost responds, eyebrows furrowed and mouth set in a line--but then he notes that he's stopped and can only guess something happened. especially by purring. he ends up smiling again. ]

There's always a silver lining.

You've just gotta keep thinking positive. Maybe there's nothing to do here and we're far away from home, but there's a lotta people here, just like us, who want to go home. We'll find a way.

[Especially when you have a province to rule over, an entire army to lead, a rival to fight, and a Japan to conquer back home. :T]
