[While Akito still isn’t happy being in Promenade, he is at least content with how things are for the moment. The lack of a familiar environment had been putting him on edge, but now that he’s found the trailer he feels less anxious; relaxed. Curled up at the table, swathed in his father’s jacket that's about fifty sizes too big and the smells he grew up with, it’s easy enough to imagine that he’s home if he closes his eye.
It takes him a while to identify what he’s feeling now, since he’s never felt secure in the trailer before. It’s strange, but welcome.]
My name is Akito, not Gazelle. [He doesn’t sound sorry, because he’s not.] I was on a ship filled with people wanting to kill me before I woke up here, so I thought it was safer to lie until I was sure none of those people were here too.
[There’s a slight pause before he speaks again.]
Anyway, does anyone need any ammo? I have a bunch of .45 calibre rubber-tipped rounds, hollow tips, soft-point, boat tail, copper jacketed, some expanding, and some .50 calibre rifle bullets. I don’t use guns so it’s all just taking up space.
