[The image in the video is as dark as ever, but there appears to be something different this time; there are no visible monsters, no dead bodies. Just a recent arrival - Vanitas - standing still, watching something very intently.]
[ and what he's watching comes onto the video not a moment after; a twitching, black monstrosity that seems to have some sort of human likeness. it walks on its knees and the tips of his feet, along with its hands. colored all black, with glowing yellow eyes, the creature almost seems to let out a hiss as it twitches closer until its by Vanitas' side, and by then, closer into the light. some may be able to identify the profile and the face structure as similar to Sora. but obviously not him, right? ]
[Vanitas stares down at the thing, still just watching it silently for a moment - observing it. Who knows why? Without seeing his face, no one can tell what he might be thinking. But when he speaks, he sounds almost pleased.]
Well, isn't that interesting.
[ the creature tenses suddenly, staring straight ahead. another hiss echoes through the forest and into the feed. something has caught its attention; another one that appeared in the city as of late? yes--a Reanimati. before any weapons can be drawn, the shadow creature leaps onto it, claws starting to tear it apart.]
[Meanwhile, the Reanimati doesn't even prompt Vanitas to so much as shift his position - his eyes follow the shadow, as if more curious about seeing it fight then he is concerned about getting rid of the monster.]
[ the attack is all claws and teeth, the shadow creature takes no hits lightly and is solely intent on taking it down with brute strength. and when it does go down, which is surprisingly fast--and efficient--from the other creature, he stays there for a while, before... returning to Vanitas' side. ]
[There's a small satisfied "humph" when he does so, as if Vanitas was pleasantly surprised by the creature's return to his side, or his performance in the fight...or both. He takes a few steps forward, closer to the center of the path, as if testing something.]
[ the creature only follows, quite closely--only a step or two behind. like a shadow, like a puppy even. and as much as Vanitas walks away, the creature keeps on his tail, even if it does pause to hiss or growl at nearby foes.]
[He finally stops, satisfied enough to turn around and look straight down at the shadow creature. There's a small laugh...and then silence, as if he's considering something.]
[ and then, suddenly--in a burst of light, there's Sora. his eyes are glazed over and his chest rises and falls harshly like he's been running forever, but then, he slowly comes back down to earth in a clammy shiver. he only then notices he's on his hands and knees, in an odd crouching position. staring at the ground, he murmurs-- ]
Where am I? How'd I...?
[ and then he sees Vanitas. ]

[Vanitas just laughs again - a little louder, this time - and then the feed cuts.]
