[ There is no coordinates on the short video feed, but a timestamp does appear at the lower right hand corner. It's only the image of the Nemesis, though, just...floating. Yes, that's a fully capable Decepticon warship floating somewhere off the coast of Promenade. ]

[...Wow, Soundwave. That's...

Really. Obvious.]

Function (Soundwave): surveillance.

Purpose: publicizing base of operations?

[Did Rinzler forget to encrypt that? Oops.]

[ Silly, program. There's no way anybody would not notice the GIANT WARSHIP floating over Promenade at random intervals. When you can't hide something, you reveal it, and use it as bait. ]

Variable location, cloaking technology more than adequate
Purpose: Information

[ And did he leave this unlocked? Why yes he did. ]

[Yes, because things work much better when any passing user-or program-can connect said warship with your network ID.]

Location identifiable.
Effectiveness (cloaking technology): low.

[No matter what kind of cloak you use, the energy signature from something that large has to be massive. Rinzler doesn't doubt he could track it, even without the convenient video data to serve as a start.]

Information acknowledged. [And thanks. He'll put it to good use.]

Familiarity with standard Cybertronian energy signatures?

[ IT'S A TRAP ]

Not relevant to you.

[Or, you know. Plenty relevant. Just not data Rinzler feels like disclosing. But between the program's earlier run-in with Soundwave, his exploration of Knock Out's lab, and his adventures fishing out all the drones from the Arena? Rinzler somehow thinks he'll be able to track the GIANT WARSHIP.

Trap, what trap.]

Personal interest in regard to intrusive signals

Interest not relevant.

[See Rinzler not caring?

Good. Keep seeing that. Nothing else to see. Definitely not a circuits-dimmed lightjet taking advantage of the cloud cover to move closer to the rough location of the video feed. Rinzler's confident in his ability to fly unseen-and contain his energy output. How about you-sorry, how about your warship?]

[ Rinzler, he's talking to you on an open frequency, and making no effort to hide himself. He might as well hang an energy vial off the end of a fishing pole for you. ]

[ But you do that, brogram. Fly in low ( watch the aft propulsion, it'll scramble your circuits, and fry you out ) and cut your lights. There's even a handy maintenance hatch left open for you on the prow. ]

[The open frequency surprises him a bit. But Rinzler did start it-and so far, at least, more of the mech's data has been broadcast than his own.

He's not even responding to the "drone" comment, though. Well. Not yet. He'll send you some data first, Soundwave. He knows you like that.]

Personal interests (Soundwave) necessary. Function invalidated.

Repeated instances of termination (Megatron) across system variants.
Probability: survival in drone's absence: low.

[It's been how long now, Soundwave? That you've been stuck here, useless to your master?

...and that hatch? Is entirely too obvious. Rinzler's aggressive. Even reckless, at times. But he didn't succeed as Clu's enforcer for a thousand cycles by following every dangling energy vial. Situation assessment shifts, threat level rising. He'll just be giving the whole exterior of your ship another visual scan before coming any closer.]

[ Yeah, not even gracing that with a reply. Though, it's irritating to see yet more fleshlings make claims that Megatron is dead. It's all temporal paradox, and they have no idea what his lord is capable of ( ... )

[And Rinzler had more data too. What a shame. Still, he can save it for later. The program doesn't doubt there will be more chances for Soundwave-baiting in the future.

The mech's own attempts at bait remain... fairly obvious. Rinzler's not familiar enough with Cybertronian ship design to know what is and isn't normal. But after one opening's been marked as threat, to have more cycling open immediately after? It doesn't help that every drone Rinzler's seen so far has had detection capabilities.

Still. Trap, threat. Probable. That doesn't mean there's nothing to be gained. The program waits, watches the pattern, sound rumbling out evenly. One hand forward, one behind-a pause, calculation and timing falling into alignment. Then the baton snaps together, disk jerking from its dock with a sharp hum of hyperactivity. The jet derezzes, and the program drops towards the closing hatch weapon-first, adding momentum to his own force as the orange disk digs into the hinges, cutting the vent's cover free entirely ( ... )

[ Well, not as planned per say, but not completely unexpected. After entering a few more commands, some on a timed delay, Soundwave quit the bridge to retreat into the warren of halls, and lifts between decks.
The entire Nemesis is, naturally, built to Cybertronain standards, and as such? Even the maintenance tunnels, and access ports are all much larger than human standards. It's by this virtue alone that Rinzler can even fit through the removed hatch. Once inside, though, all of said hatches open onto the same walled tunnel leading up into the ship itself. Pointedly at a very steep incline ( ... )

[The huge empty passages don't bother the program. The blocked off corridors? Do. Rinzler's noise ticks out in an irritated rattle as he gives the blocked passages a cursory scan. He's not close enough to the level of the locks to tell much about the mechanism, but the size and solidity of the barriers is impossible to miss. He'd be lucky to inflict shallow scores with a disk strike.

He continues up. The drone nest gets a cursory glance, red-orange streaks along his helmet angling as he examines the devices. Rinzler has no doubt he's being observed in return-but there's little purpose blinding these eyes when Soundwave can supply more in the area. Rinzler knows well enough the mech has other, less obvious, mobile surveillance.

When the program comes out to find the lower decks equally sealed... he's past irritation. The mask tips slowly across the passage, closed doors hemming in a path-a trail to follow. But whatever Soundwave thinks, the program's hardly a drone to run unquestioning through his little maze. And Rinzler might be ( ... )

[ There's nothing inside. Well, nothing overtly threatening that is. The Nemesis might as well be a ghost ship running through it's automated functions like this, and the quiet is telling. Even the thrum of the massive engines is muted by the suppressing insulation. There's a short ( relatively speaking ) set of steps leading down to a pit in the floor. It's a lounge of some sort with contour mesh seats, and benches with a scattering of 'tables' around.
On the far side, steps rise up to another set of doors - these are left open - and the officer's lounge beyond. The bar, and walls sport a fully stocked bar with everything from low-grade to concentrated high-grade energon.

Not much of tactical use, really.

...But some of those time delay commands activate at this particular moment, shutting down the lighting in the hallway one after another like a wall of shadow moving like a wave down the hallway, and into the lounge. ]

[Rinzler's less than impressed with the utility of these rooms. The energy supply is interestingly familiar-if ridiculously concentrated-but of no particular use to him. Really, he'd been hoping for a database at least ( ... )

[ Well, once Rinzler is herded back out of the leisure deck with the oncoming darkness, that door snaps closed again in a hurry. The locking mechanism isn't working at peak abilities anymore thanks to it's earlier override, but the heavy blast doors will do the trick of keeping Rinzler in that particular hallway for the moment.

In fact, even in the darkness, the 'tink, tink, tink' sound of little cleaning drone's legs up, and down the hall is the only audible sound...even when that same line of tiny salvage drones turn, as a force, and begin to dogpile Rinzler. Oh, they aren't combat equipped really, so it would be no trouble to get them off, but there's a vast number of them, and they're not meant to stop him. Only slow him down...and get him to draw both disks again.

Here, Rinzler, have dozens of metallic claws trying to grab onto your limbs, an pull you down to the floor with them. All of it in the dark. ]
