[The PORTAL turns on to reveal a masked blonde looking both confused and pissed off all at once. She slowly takes in a breath of air, and holds it, her cheeks puffed out. She stays this way for a few moments before quietly releasing the breath, and then looking to either side of her.]

[She pauses, shrugging a little.]
I dunno, but definitely nothing like this. Hate to say it, but playing costume party isn't my idea of a decent afterlife. I didn't like this dress up crap as a kid, and I sure as hell don't wanna deal with it now.
[There's a halfhearted chuckle, and she turns a lopsided grin to her viewers.]
Is there even anyone out there who can hear all this, or am I just wasting time talking to myself?
