The World Cup has been pretty fun. Good games, tight games, some drama. The only thing that would make the game more enjoyable is if I could get a couple questions answered...

Questions such as, "Who invented the fucking vuvuzela, and can I kill him?"

*laughs* I've heard about ten times more news coverage of the vuvuzela than of the games themselves. I've no idea who's won what, but I can tell you all about how they either love or hate the vuvuzela.

I find it fascinating that hardcore soccer fans, arguably the most annoying and in-your-facey of all of sports, are complaining about the horns. I can understand the "I just want to watch this soccer thing" casual fans, but the hooligan crowd seems to be upset about being out-hooliganed.
