But okay, so…
I'll start by saying, there a lot of things I agree with and a lot I don't. When it comes to the first part, I can see where you're coming from when you say he's "two tone standardized southern charmer." Admittedly, I have been stuck in a rut with him and generally feeling very flat with his personality for a while now, and I think he might have fallen into an easy but boring pattern in the game. I don't know about not allowing him any room to grow, because right now I'm not sure I know which way it is that I want him to grow. You're also right when you say that Dean would be quick to anger over the type of jab that Alec made. However in the situation in question, Alec was clearly (in my opinion) harassing him for a reaction and while Dean would have done exactly as you say normally, you have to remember that Dean isn't the exact same person he was back home

I agree with the third bit. That is exactly what Dean uses sex for, but I do not understand how I have made him more of a romantic. There is one person Dean has growing romantic feelings for and that is Elphaba. We don't often log out sex and by no means does Dean on Atia limit himself to just her or a few women because of these growing feelings. There have been plenty of handwaved and played-out one night stands, and yes, he should be and would be chatting up every pretty girl if I had the time to tag everyone who fits the bill. So I would love it if you could give me an example of a non-curse related date! Any and all fluff should have been purely platonic -- because I believe that even Dean, no matter how much of ladies man, knows better than to try a friend when he knows she's taken. And even in this instance, I have had him joke about it, but when he cares about someone, he's not going to sleep with them just because he wants to.
Once again, I agree the things said in the deity part, to some point. The thing is, he was pissed
