Threadhopping: Yes if the thread is lighthearted, no if something serious is going down. If you feel that your character would still comment/whatever, then please ask both myself and whoever else I am threading with.
Fourthwalling: Not allowed at amatomnes at least. But generally in crack/other communities, sure, I guess.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): Ums, gee, I don't know! You'd really just have to ask me since it's all more of a case-by-case thing for me. I'm pretty open so don't be afraid to drop me a line.

Hugging this character: Technically, yes. If you're a girl, he'll probably even like it. That is, unless you're some demon bitch from Hell who stabs people after a hug. |: He might be a bit wary if he doesn't know you. If you're a dude, he might feel a bit uncomfortable unless you're either Sam, or in some cases Castiel. Unless he initiates the hug towards another guy, then expect him to be awkward over the whole thing.
Kissing this character: Again, women, go right ahead~ He's been kissed by the enemy almost as much as any female friends.
And for guys, well, if you want a fist in the eye after, sure. He'd be super baffled, embarrassed and angry. If you're a friend, he won't necessarily punch you but he'll definitely make a fuss over it....and then pretend it never happened. Ever.
Flirting with this character: OH HELLO, YES. Beautiful chicks, how's it going~? If you're a woman, he's most likely already flirting with you as is, so yes, feel free to flirt back. It'll only get him more excited. =3
And guys, well, again it'll make him feel awkward and he'll keep brushing you off. But if you like making him squirm, then sure.
Fighting with this character: He'll almost never raise a fist against a woman, so verbal arguing is as far as he'll go. Unless there's a curse involved, that is. Dean has a short temper which can fire up in an instant and he won't hesitate with throwing low blows if he doesn't know you well. With friends, well, push him enough and he'll snap just as easily.
With guys, he's much more quick to get physical. If he doesn't know you, you can expect that very fast but before that he'll make sure to taunt the Hell out of you.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Ask first. Punching, slapping and so on is a-okay but anything more, like say shooting him or stabbing him, just ask. God knows he gets hurt in canon a lot so if the situation makes sense and he's more than likely to get hurt then I'll say yes. :3
Killing this character: No. Unless it's pre-planned to the finest detail, then absolutely not. Again, if you have something in mind, then just ask me~
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Mmm, ask! I'm pretty open to this stuff and more than willing to go along with it if, again, it makes sense.
Warnings: Dean has a short temper and a is a real button-pusher. He'll taunt and jab to get a hostile reaction if that's what he wants.
As for other things...
His acceptance of things not human (aka supernatural beings; ghosts, vampires, werewolves ect.) is very black and white. He has, through canon, learned to accept some beings more easily but overall, you can except an almost racist attitude towards some creatures. This being said, he has absolutely no problem killing anything he sees as a danger to humans, be they human-looking or not. To him, those of supernatural background are less. Still, this doesn't mean that he'll underestimate them physically or mentally. He knows a lot when it comes to different species and the only place he lacks in knowledge is the emotional side that often softens up even the fiercest of creatures.
He has zero tolerance for:
>> Demons
>> Almost all other angels except Castiel
>> Vampires
>> Shapeshifters
>> Werewolves
