You're strong. You're also still hurting. If you need anything, let me (and the rest of us here) know. We're around for you. YOU are who matters right now.

Hey Ashley,

I'm not sure when you guys would want to start being mentors, but I was thinking about doing it once, but at the time my life was kinda crazy so I didn't end of doing it. But oakland county and the ferndale schools both need mentors for kids. Its pretty awesome how they work it out. You would need to go have an orientation and watch a video and then apply. But yea. the number for oakland county is 248-858-0041 and the lady who does the orientation is Joy Delauter and she is nice and extremely commited to what she does. It is a great program and just the few hours you spend with them changes thier lives. The kids come from pretty shaky lives and a kid would be lucky to have you as a mentor.

When you are ready I can give you my folder from the orientation.

I haven't known what to say, and still don't, along with everyone else. My heart aches for you and Josh and everyone around you for everyones pain during this. I am happy for your admirable desire to find the positives in this tough situation. You are an incredible person and I am so happy to know you have the support you need during this coming at you from all different angles.

You are in my thoughts.

:) good for you!
my cousin passed away from cancer on dec 31, 2001 and every year my aunt holds a charity baseball tournament/comedy show and raises about $20,000 from that one day and donates it all to sick kids hospital. it's nice to have everyone come together and support her family and the hospital and we have alot of fun in memory of mitchell!
