I think it's a classic catch-22. you don't feel ready until you've experienced it and you don't want to experience it until you're ready. i can't believe they're even putting you in that position as far your field placement...that's pretty fucked. but you know what dude..you're gonna rock it out. i know it's gonna be mega-hard and you'll feel a lot of pressure but you might end up loving being able to do it yourself. and if not, you call that high school lady and say,"hey about this whole working solo deal..it ain't working."

i'm sorry emily, i know that it don't mean jack coming from me -- probably wouldn't mean jack coming from anyone, you want a proper field placement, you don't want to be a substitute social worker before you've learned the tools of the trade!

i fucking feel you on the money thing too. but i have no words of encouragement for that. being poor just sucks.
