That's so sweet that he got you a diamond necklace! I told Leslie, sort of as a hint, but he was getting his lunch ready so I don't think he really heard me.
Well, while I had more than 4 days, I did get my wisdom teeth out two weeks before my wedding, and I survived. Granted, I only had two, and they were the top ones (which are, apparently, wicked easy to get out). My jaw only opened about 1/4 of an inch up until like the day before the wedding, but that's the only bad experience I had with it. :)
I'm sure Leslie would have obliged had he not been distracted by food. ;)
And yeah, I figure I'll probably be okay with four days... I only have two classes and work for 3 hours on Mondays... Work I can get out of easily enough and I figure two classes shouldn't be too strenuous. Who really needs to open their jaw anyway? hehe.
You'll be fine. I was fine within 2 days. (Fine meaning not in excruciating pain, able to breathe and talk like normal, but nowhere near eating like normal. But that's totally fine, you can have spaghetti and mashed potatoes and ice cream and you'll definitely live.) In fact, I remember Andrew Milne coming back to school at Brady the AFTERNOON AFTER he had his wisdom teeth out. Like, surgery in the AM, school in the PM. I still think that was crazy, but it proves that it's not quite as traumatic as all the horror stories might lead you to believe.
