Of course by now I'm sure we're all familiar with my pattern of going to the gym a few times at the beginning of the semester and then never going again. Also, you actually WILL still lose weight even if you eat more when you exercise. (Not as quickly as if you just ate vegetable matter and water, but it will happen.) The thing is, every time you exercise, you wake up your metabolism; two things do that--eating and exercise. So it makes sense that you feel hungrier. Feed your body healthy things though--eat protein right after you exercise, to replenish muscle fiber, instead of giving it carbs to store. (Additionally, realize that getting into the cycle of exercising means that your body starts to burn more calories because you're active on a regular basis, so your body burns calories based on the fact that you exercise. Also, every pound of muscle you create burns 50 more calories per hour.) (Cited, Sebastian.)

I was going to say that a stomach flu will help to lose and I've kept off those 5 pound by having a bowl of ice cream with hot fudge every night! ;)
