I liked the beginning of the first episode because I don't think we're meant to believe that's how the Doctor will die - it's more about who is the astronaut? How will they stop it? etc. I'm surprising myself with how much I like this season though (well, the pirates was kind of meh).

And I have become a Doctor/River shipper. It just snuck up on me and now here I am :P

I was really looking forward to the Gaiman episode but the trailer just looked confusing, so I think it will be one of those love-it-or-hate-it episodes.

Yeah, I have a feeling that the Gaiman episode will really appeal to a certain part of the DW audience--I just can't tell which part that'll be.

And I'm...really starting to come around to Doctor/River. I hesitate to say I ship it just because I think I was closer to really shipping it before Series 6 started. I don't know. I'm waiting to see how it plays out, because although I love their dynamic a lot of the time, it feels kind of forced right now. To me, at least. I'm glad it's working for you! It makes me happy when people like things. :)

Why don't I have a River icon yet? Definitely fixing that later.

Also my favorite theory for the regenerating child so far

is that it's Lucy's and the Master's. I just can't get my head around her being Amy and Rory's, even if Amy really is pregnant. And I always like the idea of more Master stuff. And also, I think the regenerating kid and the astronaut kid are two different kids, and the astronaut one is the one who's Amy's, but there's lots of argument on that point, it seems.

Okay, that is now my favorite theory too. I don't know how likely it is, but I would LOVE that. I still can't tell if it's the same kid or not. I've been assuming it is, but your theory makes more sense. (Only...how the fuck did the Silence get Amy's kid? I AM CONCERNED FOR THEIR PARENTING SKILLS IF THIS IS THE CASE.)
