In preparation for my upcoming LONG DRIVE, I need some music recommendations! I would love for everyone to reply and recommend good driving music or just your favorite CDs/bands. I've been in a CD buying mood lately and I'm trying to broaden my collection. Thanks!

long drive? to where?

well as far as CDs that are good for a long drive, and aren't jsut a couple of good singles:
Fiona Apple - Tidal
Ben Folds - Rockin the Suburbs
Grandaddy - Nature Anthem -or- Sumday
My Morning Jacket - Z
Seu Jorge - Life Aquatic Sessions
Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism

those are all pretty eas to like CDs. nothing to off the beaten track or anything.

And always a good buy for road trips, and something not alot of ppl think of is those cheesey "greatest hits" cds from walmart. i'd recommend:

Etta James
Simon & Garfunkel

I'm going to Canyon/Amarillo. I have to take my final for the correspondence course I've been working on for the last year and a half =) I could have had it proctored here, but it's a good excuse to go up there and see my friends and hopefully play in the snow! (I'm praying for snow... I miss the cold! Short sleeves in winter is just WRONG.)
