Has anyone ever read Diary?

This rant/appeal might seem like a history lesson, but so be it.

One of the things that I love about the summer is having free time to read the books that I've been dying to read.  I overheard someone say the other day that he "doesn't read," and I felt pretty surprised by that.  Who the hell just doesn't read?  Maybe, as an English major, I'm ( Read more... )

I hate people who say they don't read. But then again I'm also a Lit major. It bothers me as much as people who say they don't watch tv. One of the things I look forward to the most in the summer is getting to read. Especially books that I choose to read. I love it.

I adore reading! Oh, gosh. I am such a book nerd. I even listen to them on mp3 while I'm filing at work. Ha! I haven't read anything by Mr. Palahniuk yet, but I plan on it. I have to admit, though, that I loved the Fight Club movie.

I saw you on GOMS and decided to check your journal out.

There was an article that said 80% of American families did not buy or read a book last year.

That blows my mind.
