Okay, so everyone knows I'm a baseball fan, right? I love my Tigers. Well, here is my mini-baseball rant about how much of a giant douchebag Bud Selig is (he's the commissioner... the head guy in baseball land). I get to post it in LJ because I've only got a couple of friends who enjoy baseball, and one doesn't have a phone and the other is too

I'm a baseball faithful too, and all I can say is I'm glad the circus that was the Barry Bonds steroids and home runs show will cease, at least for a while. He's hit 3 more HR's since breaking the record and there hasn't been an inkling of coverage compared to the HR's leading up to it. Now that it's dying down to a dull roar, hopefully until he retires, we can actually focus on purely Baseball and the push for October. =) My Twins haven't been so hot this year, and I have lots of extended family who are Tiger fans, so we bicker back and forth lol. Ordonez is the guy that's impressive to me, he's been consistent with that batting average this whole year and he was on a real tear lately.

For sure! I thought the twins were going to be more of a threat this year, but it hasn't been so great for them. I'm just bummed because now I only get to watch 19 Tigers games a year, compared to... every single one of them. Ordonez is just such a fantastic player, he's just solid all around and his stats really put him at the top of the charts... he isn't even getting paid that much.
