i just got back from guitar lessons, but right before that we went to slackers and i spent all my money! (yikes!) i had $125 but now im down to like $8. i got eleven cd's ( Read more... )

my parents want me to sing opera and say guitar is a waste of time.

wow, can you sing opera good? it seems like it would be hard. but if they just want you to sing, accoustic guitars are good for singing with. maybe you can convince them. it would help you learn other music too!

i don't like too blow my own horn, but i'm pretty good.

i have an acoustic, i just really can't play. i suck, alot.

well, at least you have one, so thats a start. i know you can get books and magazines to teach yourself. they also have videos. my guitar camw with a little book thing, a cd, and a dvd but i've never used them since i take lessons. i would give them to you but i'm not sure how to get it to you.
