Using HJSplit

Jan 27, 2007 18:39

What You'll Need:
- HJSplit 2.2
- All your split files to join

Pretty much after you download it, it should be self-explanatory to most people~

But on w/ the tutorial! >:O

Step 1:
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED ALL THE PARTS TO WHAT YOU WANT TO JOIN, THAT ALL THE FILES ARE SAVED IN THE SAME FOLDER, AND THAT THEYRE ALL NAMED THE SAME [DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE FILE UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE JOINED IT]. Also make sure that you've downloaded all your files in its' entirety...by that I mean, if the file is split at 150mb, make sure all the files are 150mb [if file 001 is 150mb file 002 should be 150mb] (excluding the last file though!), sometimes people that use download managers (or dont XP), dont download the whole file [probably because of connection loss, or your download cancels out]. Only reason I bring it up, is because HJSplit will join the incomplete file, and it will play sluggish or close out. So yeah... XD Make sure that file one has .001 at the end of the file name So, for example KyouKaraMaou.avi.001. If you use a download manager, dont worry since it does it automatically.

Step 2:
Run HJSplit and click "Join"

Step 3:
Click "Input file"

Step 4:
The only file that should appear is the one with the 001 extension [HJSplit will automatically detect the other files], select that file.

Step 5:
Click "Start" and wait for the file to join~

After the file is finished joining, it'll be in the same folder where all you're split files are at. You can delete the split files [I recommend doing so, since they take up a lot space], you wont need them anymore~
