hey, just a heads-up because there was talk of this in the etsy forums recently (though i can't find the link right now as i'm at work). you're not allowed to do giveaways on a facebook business page -- FB will pull your page. i BELIEVE you can host the giveaway on your blog and post the blog link to facebook. i'd double check, though. don't want you to get your page pulled.

holy crap! I had no idea. Thank you for the heads up. You see pages doing it all the time so I just never would have even questioned it. I will run the contests on my blog instead! Reading through the rules it seems like it's OK to give people an entry to the contest for "liking" your facebook page so I'll do that instead. It seems like it's OK to mention the contest on my facebook page as long as I don't tie winning into any facebook actions (other than having them 'like' the page, that is).
