well i got a rejection letter for this essay contest i entered back in the summer. it really sucked. i worked hard on that essay. everyonme says im so "perfect". yeah right. if im perfect i wuldnt have lost. heres the essay i entered, just incase u were interested

kelsey cheer up!! u should have totally won that contest! u wrote 1 of the best essays i ahve ever read. it was so beautiful. u really shone through in it. to hell with those stupid ppl that rejected ur essay. u know its good and all of us know its good. and tahts all that matters. u are the best writer ever and u wrote an awesome essay. you should be proud. i know IIIIIIIi am very proud of u. good job. standing ovation.

omg kelsey that was beautiful. it really was. you could really reach out to people with that essay. you are such a talented writer! and i know that if it was up to me, you would have won that contest. but there shall be other oppurtunities. like your essay says, you tried and your thought wasnt wasted. your responsible for writing an amazing essay which im sure touched everyones heart who read it. <3

that essay wasnt for patriots pen though. i dont find out if i go to nationals for that contest until january. this is a diff contest

Kelsey, when people say you're perfect, they don't mean it literally. They just mean you're really good at mostly everything you do. It's not meant as "oh you're perfect, so you have to win EVERYTHING"

You're essay was really really good, you should've won. But you can't have it all =]

Hey kid this is Kelsey Anne Johnson! I personally liked that essay alot more then the one you were winning money for. (I believe it was Patriot's Pen?) I think this one is alot more "from the heart". The only reasons I think you might not have got that prize you were looking for was because of the wording and alot of the sentence structure. Also, what was the final point that you were trying to prove or represent? It was kind of lost. Keep up the writing Kelsey, you rock.
