Why does it seem that every time that I'm in a bad mood I get in trouble. Because I'm not happy I get punished and it's never my parents fault. They say they respect my opinion but they'll never listen to it either way
and i always get in the most trouble when i feel the worst

That's the same way it is for me. When I'm grumpy I tend to say things. Or rather, not say things, which pisses my parents off worse than when I do say things. I'm lucky, my parents don't usually punish us for rudeness, unless it's excessive. Disobedience is their big no-no.
Especially when you're seventeen, I don't see the point in punishing someone for being grumpy. Like that's going to make us any more inclined to be nice. I dunno. It's a conundrum, Rin.

maybe i should tell them something like that. punishing me when i'm grumpy is no way to make the situation better

Yeah, maybe. But you have to be really careful how you phrase it or they'll accuse you of back-talking. 7-7 Parents! Can't live with em, can't exist without them. XD
