Hahaha, chill chill, we'd use it for completely different things. XD I mean, I like having all my files on hand when I do things (I roll on 160GB), I wish thumbdrives were as cheap to give away as burned CDs/DVDs, and this is my primary machine so I use it for everything including Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign which means I care about processing power a bit more than most.
I think for light-normal use it would be wonderful though (especially if you had a desktop for other stuff), supposedly great battery life and the form factor is AMAZING.
But! I'd advise you to wait until they up the specs OR allow you to be able to upgrade them, because at the moment you're pretty much stuck with that RAM and HD. :/

mainly coz my dad has a lacie 500gb external hard drive where i can put my movies and music.
and optical drives, well, i never use them. like if i think about it, i never ever use them. so its fine with me :D
sorry, but i must defend my future laptop (haha! as if im getting one!)

its going to take a while before solid state is affordable to most :(
