I'm sure Catapult keeps the camera going for just that reason - to crap on the corrupt.
My opinion stands somewhere between both yours and your dad's. Don't stop going to protests, but maybe keep it on the down-low, like I did.
Last, I don't want to correct your mistakes because I'm sure I make more than you, but it's "their", not "they're", and "thought", not "though".
