Seth MacFarlane, creator and main talent on "The Family Guy" was scheduled to board a flight on September 11th, 2001. His agent had mistakenly told him it departed at 815. It actually left at 745. He was just a few minutes late to board the flight that was hijacked and crashed into the World Trade Center.

I saw on an interview that Mark Whalberg was scheduled on one of the planes. (I don't know which one exactly). He was talking about it on a talkshow and was shaking. He said that that was the first time he made that public knowledge. Weird.
