Ups and Downs

Today I had the meeting I had been waiting for and my fears were confirmed... as of now, I do not have a position next year. Anything could happen between now and then, of course... people move, retire or get knocked up. If a spot opens, it'll be mine. The problem is that nobody is required to notify the school of their plans until June 30th
