seriously you should see all the hubub here in australia. my mum and countless other mums have been crying ever since the news was heard. many have compared it to the day when princess diana died.

we had like, a whole drama lesson today discussing steve irwin. its absolutly crazy.

Really? Wow. I dunno, I kind of thought maybe Australian's hated him. Seriously, everyone in America thinks that's what all Australians are like.

yeah there was a general resentment towards him, largely because most people thought he was acting it up. but all the people who ahve been on tv in the past few days have assured all of us non believers that he was truly like that, on and off camera.

and hating steve irwin for being so happy and concerned about the environment would be like hating a puppy for being cute.

i think there is alot of "fuck he actually was an alright bloke! crikey!" going about right now.
