OK, I tried to translate one of my icon-tutorials... I hope it's understandable, the German version was (I think...), but i'm not too sure about the English one O_O

The tutorial was written for PSP8, but I guess it can be used in other versions as well as PS.

Hello!
Well, I think that you must say HOW to do the things, where to go in the program, etc.. because, there are people *like me, lol* that don't know where to go, to do the right things, in the program ^^" it's just a tip... =)

I agree, you've left out how to accomplish some of the things you've said to do. Examples:

* "turn the Picture-Layer into the main color used in the texture"-- how?
* "take the airbrush tool and paint around the picture"-- what size/shape brush? In what colour?

Etc. And, er, you should run it through a spell-check. It's "duplicate", not "dublicate", "excatly" is "exactly", and "sticked" isn't a word at all: I think you meant "stuck".

Apart from that, it's great! I never would have thought of erasing the corners-- much easier than doing a layer mask with radial transparency around it, which is what I would have done :P And painting on a layer to add shadowing, and smudging-- never occurred to me. So, thanks for giving me new ideas how to icon!
