Mark was stretched out on his bed, eyes closed, thinking. He didn't want to say he was worried, but to be perfectly honest he was. Yes, he'd kissed April and she'd kissed back. Roger had a habit of going wherever he wanted in the loft without knocking or announcing his presence. When he was in a good mood, he'd found that not knocking could lead to embarrassing Mark one way or another and giving him opportunities to tease him, and when he wasn't in a good mood... well, he just didn't give a damn.

He pushed open the door to Mark's room and stepped inside without any warning. "Hey, Mark, do you - "

He cut himself off when he saw Mark face-down on his bed with his head under a pillow. "What's the matter with you?"

"Mmph," Mark replied eloquently. "Do you need something, Rog?" He wasn't in the mood to talk to Roger, which probably meant Roger was in the mood to talk, knowing his luck.

Roger walked over and sat down on the foot of Mark's bed, watching him quietly with an intent, studying expression - not that Mark could see it, with his head buried under his pillow.

"I, um... I don't remember," he confessed. There had to be a reason he'd come in here, but it had apparently slipped his mind. Well, he'd remember it eventually. Or not.

Mark felt the bed shift as Roger sat down. "Can I help you with something, then?" He took his head from under the pillow and shifted to look at him. "Or are you just going to sit on my bed and look thoughtful."
