I don't friend blank journals. I feel the same way you do: if someone wants to read my private thoughts, then they should be disclosing theirs to me. I'm not entertainment.

Blank journals are a bit scary... almost makes them look like lurkers and stalkers, especially if they've got a small list of communities... O_O

I concur wholeheartedly. It'd be nice to know a bit of the person who's friended you and vice versa. If they don't even have the decency to post something or even some basic profile info then unfriended they be for me.

I don't mind if a person has a blank journal at all. But, then, I don't post alot of deeply personal things, so that's probably why I have a different opinion on here than everybody else. They can hardly stalk me by knowing that I'm against the Olympics coming to New York, and that I think Ian Somerhalder is hot.
