Iron Man Fanfic Newsletter - Vol. 1, Issue 3

Jun 20, 2008 00:09

You may notice that the newsletter looks MUCH COOLER this week. This is all thanks to atrata and murklins; murklins wrote a fantastically useful script that generates and sorts a newsletter from del.icio.us links, and atrata set the whole thing up with very little help from me and then answered many, many stupid questions on my part. SO many thanks to the both of them for ( Read more... )

There is also that, or, if you have a del.icio.us account, you can tag it "for:imwatcher" -- I had planned to announce that next week but hey, why not early? :D

ETA: I may also backdate a post on the comm (if possible) where people can leave fic announcement comments if they don't feel like crossposting to comms... Hmm.

If you are ever interested in running a newsletter, you should totally talk to atrata or murklins! It's amazing. I'm continually impressed by the smart things that people build just for fandom.

As far as listing RPS in the newsletter-- I don't think I'm going to list it-- it would just add too many tags & be hard to categorize. Although one of these days I'll get around to writing up a better comm profile & then I'll definitely list downey_jr as an Iron Man fandom-related comm. :)
