i think a suit is fine for "dressy" events. as long as you dress it up a little, like you suggested with the heels and jewelery, you'll be fine. esp. for a winter wedding.

Sounds hawt. Go for it.

And if I could manage it, I'd probably try to avoid wearing a dress to my father's wedding. If the wedding weren't in July, I'd probably try to wear boxers under the dress ^_^
