Before some of you arrived, we would get chalk drawings scattered throughout the city, though nothing to this magnitude. Then, it was usually only a single drawing on some buildings, usually a comet or stars or hopscotch, something like that. It usually preceded an attack from a rat-like race of monsters that came in swarms and would try to kidnap people for purposes that are murky at best. We never knew who or what was making the drawings before, so it might be the same demons that Riqis and Yuffie caught. Hopefully, they will get the some answers for the rest of us.
Though the patterns (and drawings) are different, we might want to be careful and vigilant. Board up the windows in HQ, take a stockpile of weapons and ammo, not go out alone, things like that. Just in case. Someone also might want to get in close to Yuffie or Riqis and see what sort of information you can wrangle out of either of them about what they found.

I might be jumping the gun, but with the chalk drawings... you might want to take a couple extra precautions with Thorn.
It's funny how something so small, like a question or two, can remind you of how different everyone is, all their homes, all they know. We really are a broad mix of people, hm?
