Doumeki's eyes... are sealed shut. I... I tried to get him to go to Yuuko's shop but... he wouldn't listen to me. He never listens to me... The idiot went back to his house. He needs help. Big time.

There is a spider web etched onto his eyes.

Well, when I visited his family shrine the other day, my hand got stuck in a spider web. While trying to help me, he totally destroyed the web. I'm thinking that maybe that's what caused this...

A spider spend most of it's live creating it's home. Doumeki destroyed that home, therefore it is more likely for the spider to die while holding the grudge.
