Do you think the media can really be blamed for teenage issues today? For instance, school shootings, anorexia.. can you really blame it on what you see on television, hear on the news, read in a magazine?

Nope. But the shitty parents will always need something to blame.

Kids learn what they know from the media. Kids learn what to do from example.

well if by true, you meant completely false and idiotic, i agree.

Anorexia is not usually a conscious choice, its a disease. We have very little, if not no control over our self-image, do we? If we did, we would all think we looked amazing and none of us would change. Anorexia stems from the fact that some people's self-image just doesn't improve, no matter how much weight they lose. It is not always their fault. Do you say cancer comes from ignorance and need for attention?

Also, the comment was incredibly rude. You weren't even brave enough to leave your name, now what should brenda and i think of you?
