It seems like forever since I've posted. So much has happened. Pancreatic cancer took my brother, David, the Saturday before Easter. We went to Virginia to attend the memorial service and be with Donna. It was so very hard on my mom. No parent should ever have to bury their child. Is everything going well? How is John doing? Are you well? I hope to hear back, as it has been quite some time without news, and I am getting worried...

This is a year the likes of which I'd rather not see again. It has seemed very busy but mostly it's just been very frustrating. John and I have spent an overwhelming amount of time in doctors offices. Not only does he have his regular health issues, now Cigna has decided that they want to renege on his disability benefits. They are sending him to a bunch of their doctors trying to get them to say that he can, after all these years, work even though his doctors keep sending them updates regularly saying that he can't. He did go back for a booster bladder cancer treatment and cystoscopy and his bladder, for now, is clear of any cancer. (Yea!) To top this all off, Monday, in the rain, I had my first (in 40 years of driving) car wreck. It did a real job on the underside of my pretty little VW station wagon though. $8,200 worth and it will take 3 months to fix it. I hydroplaned, spun out, then hit and jumped a curb. I haven't posted because every time I try it just starts to sound depressing. I've wondered often about you too but chose
