Goodbye Sprint!!

Jan 27, 2004 22:41

Hi there!

I need some help. My contract is almost up on my cell phone with Sprint. I cannot wait to get rid of them. I'm tired of all the dropped calls!

So, who would you recommend for a wireless provider? Please leave a comment and let me know.

Thanks!

Verizon is a possibility, but Matt in the Hatt has Verizon and his phone loses the signal in my apartment. I guess this is what I get for having my aparment in practically the basement of my building.

I would advise against cingular....their customer service sucks.

I am personally probably switching back to sprint as soon as my contract with att is up. I like the whole 7pm thing. Att is decent though...although you can't get it down there.

I believe that Cincinnati Bell uses the AT&T network. I know it does when you're out of the area. At least with Cincinnati Bell I wouldn't have to sign a contract. Whoever I go with is going to have to have a 30 day return policy though. I'm not getting stuck with a phone that doesn't work in my apartment.

I wonder if it's going to be a pain to get my number transfered.

haha, number transfer....i was there when jen had her number transfered from cingular to sprint. Its not really that painful, you just have to bring in a bill to them so they can fill out the paper work. The tricky part is that it doesn't happen right away, you have to wait a week or two or three before it transfered and your new phone starts working.
The kicker and i quote from the sprint guy "you won't know when its gonna happen till you can recieve and make a call on your new one, and your old phone doesn't work anymore"....gotta love the phone company
