LJ Idol Season 8, Week 7, Bupkis, Danger

Suppressed Anger = Depression, that's how the equation goes.I do hope you find the help you need to get you through this. The world and especially the folks here on LJ would hate to lose you. Me too.

I'm so glad you're in therapy, and I hope and pray for you that you can find a way to reach your anger in a way that gives you back your power.

Writing-wise, the idea that you can no longer find your anger is very compelling.

Thanks so much. I especially appreciate the hope and prayers. I've been in therapy for about a year and a half now, maybe a little longer. In that time I've also been hospitalized in the psych ward twice. It has been a real roller coaster lately but I am trying to get through it and not be ashamed of any of it. Also trying to come out of it a stronger, healthier person.

Awesome! You did great with it. You are on the road to recovery. Or, as they say in AA, you are trudging that road to happy destiny!!

Thanks so much. That's a big compliment coming from you since I always love your entries when I get a chance to read them. I'll be working on that anger thing. Writing this essay to show where I was starting from was the first step.
