So I watched a program about pigs the other day on animal planet. Not sure what the point of it was, it started out being about the way that truffles are found and why they are so expensive....French farmers use 'truffle pigs' to locate these truffles that cam sell for upwards of $1000/kg. Maybe eat less meat and when you do eat it, eat only free range meat slaughtered in humane ways. Jewish people have a lot of rules and regulations around eating meat...and they don't eat pig at all. Kosher slaughter is actually pretty humane too and the animals must be kept in very good health.
