Yes it was about "race", but that's just the way things always seem to go. HOWEVER, people wanted change, period. That's why he got 60% of the caucasian vote.
Obama ran one of the best campaigns I've ever witnessed. Everything fell into place like the precision of a well-oiled machine. I tip my hat to him and his staff. They had a plan and executed it flawlessly.
As for the ignoramus' that voted just so a "black" would NOT be president...well they have a brain the size of a pea, so what else would one expect from them?
I applaud you for your convictions, and yes, I know how've you felt these many past years. Now it's your turn to bask. Here's hoping that this country heals and everything can just move forward now.
One matter to comment on though...the polls showed that the people that voted due to the "age" issue, FAR surpassed those that voted on the "race" issue. We seem to be moving forward somewhat, which is good for the country.
