Loved it. I love stories where the Doctor's unintentionally upsets Rose - which is probably quite a normal thing as he runs off at the mouth far to often and he's bound to say something wrong!

This is a great story. It's not difficult to see the Doctor and Rose in the fallout of a row. What I liked about the plot is the aspect that these people weren't estranged over anything petty, but because words have the power to hurt and heal. You can see the Doctor firing off a string of comments off the cuff. It's his personality to speak startling simple truth in an impersonal manner at times, and in that we see something of a carry over from the ninth doctor's biting observations.

Rose is strong, but it’s the little gestures and words which fuel a lot of her emotions.

Fantastic, I really enjoyed reading this! I found everyone to be in character, and I love that you made Martha, Donna and Rose friends; I've read so many angsty fics with them constantly bickering, so this was refreshing :D
