I'd definitely be interested in reading a second part. This was very well done. I had a bit of trouble believing they'd just go for it, right there in the hospital, but once they started, I was all for it. It was rendered so tenderly.

this had become as much about her taking care of him as it had become about him taking care of her

That bit nearly made me cry, as did the image of her throwing her arms around him to convince the nurses he was on the up and up. Please continue with this?

Yes, that was actually one of the things that I myself had difficulty with, I have to admit. I did try to give them a little privacy as a way to qualify it to myself. *grins*

I think in the end, I wanted her panic and his desire to comfort her to trump any logistical difficulties.

Aaaanyway, I'm babbling. Thanks so much! I almost scrapped that sentence, so it just goes to show that I can't be trusted!

In Australia, they're called trunks, but I'm not sure of their UK name. That was very sweet. I'd also love to see a sequel
