Bonjour!

May 01, 2031 23:33

Hello, and welcome to my humble abode. This journal is friends only - everything except fanfiction is locked. If I've caught your eye, (I'd have it checked) please feel free to introduce yourself here. I don't bite - but I also don't friend back people who haven't introduced themselves, because I find it a bit creepy. :D ( Read more... )

Hey there I stumbled upon your latest 10/Rose Memories fic and I LOVE it! You've got a great spark for writing and I can't wait to read more of your work! As a dedicated Doctor/Rose shipper, I've been searching LJ for good fanfic and yours is definitely one of the best there is! Cheers!

I meant to friend you after the last fic you posted, but never got round to it - it's some of the best I've read, and you seem awesome, so I'm friending both journals if that's okay.

Lovely to meet you! I actually just realized that *you're* the one who wrote 'Blooms' - which I absolutely ADORE.

Hello!!

I wandered over here from tennant_love cause you said you were going to England from Australia to see Hamlet, and I thought, "Hey! Another crazy nut! Brilliant!"

The thing is though that I'm not going until December, so I have this sinking feeling that I'm not actually going to be able to get tickets. *sad*

But anyways, HELLO! I'm going to friend you 'cause... you are bascially a copy of me in Melbourne and I was down there only sunday and OMG 'cause it's colder in QUEENSLAND! which is just insane..

Oh yeah, anyways, so I LOVE Doctor Who, to death.. can't get enough and I'm already going through withdrawals and teevee basically takes over my life and I need new friends! YAY!

"Hey! Another crazy nut! Brilliant!"

That made me laugh so loudly! I'm not going until December either! My ticket is for Boxing Day, and even though the RSC tickets have sold out, September 12 brings new, public tickets.

Are you just going to the UK, or all over?

Sunday wasn't too bad; yesterday was bloody freezing. I woke up shivering during the night.

Yes, I'm going into telly withdrawal too! Christmas we've got to wait till! The Music of the Spheres was great but it doesn't cut the mustard.

Um... hello! My name's Juliette, and I am fond of Doctor Who, fanfiction, and well-written combinations of the two. Among other things, of course. I listen to all sorts of music... my favorite band at the moment is The Magnetic Fields, but what I call my favorite changes all the time. People find this surprising, so I'l tell you now: 1930s and 40s music really gets me going. I love swing dance and the music it is done to. I'm a big reader, mostly young adult fiction and mysteries. I'll be starting my junior year of high school in about three weeks and having my sixteenth birthday a week and a half before that. I love to sing, and I plunk about on the piano without being very good. Other than Doctor Who and Torchwood, I'm not very into TV. I like movies in the good ole MGM style. Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Humphrey Bogart, Ava Gardner, Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant... those guys ( ... )

Awwww, you're into the oldies too, eh? I've just started getting onto some stuff from early last century, but my heart and soul lies with The Beatles.

Yeah, I've heard of the Magnetic Fields - the only song I've got is I Wish I Had An Evil Twin, which I love.

You're much more articulate than I was at fifteen! Hopefully that doesn't sound too condescending. Lovely to meet you!

Ah, regarding the Beatles, me too. I don't understand how anybody could not love them.

I do think that one should support the artist and buy CDs, so I am not giving you a trillion songs but rather a few of my favorites. "All My Little Words" is actually my top favorite song right now, so give it a listen, yes? :):):) Muuuuuuusic.

I definitely don't take that as condescending. Thank you! I've heard that I am articulate, have a great vocabulary, speak well for my age, etc. since I was about five. I think it might have gone to my head. XD
