As some of you know, Book #53 was planned to be the last issue of The Book of Imaginary Beasts. However, I have the happy honor of saying that I am taking over the reins of this phoenix from lilacfields, the previous editor-in-chief

Thank you so much! It is very much still happening - I just acquired some new art as of last week, and I'm working on an anthology release in summer 2017.

Hi! I am planning to release a small reprint anthology in summer 2017. As of this week, I have just acquired new cover art for the anthology! So excited.

As for new issues with a call for submissions, I'm hoping for fall 2017, i.e. announcing right after the anthology is released and having a few months for the open period. <333333 for your interest and I hope you will stick around for the future issues!
