then we'd be unstoppable...

Haven't had a chance to post till now, but omfg what a night.

Arctic: "DAYUM" indeed. I think, somehow, at this point in the series, despite everything... that was the BEST ending I could have possibly hoped for. (And by "ending," I mean where the series potentially stops in my own personal canon.)

There's nothing I love more, narratively, than a story coming full circle. Except maybe when something shocks me in a positive way. 'Arctic' achieved both in a mere five minutes. (FIVE MINUTES?!) And I feel utterly satisfied not just with the CLex but with Rosenwelling as well. Whoever wrote those lines, seriously, I want to kiss them. Repeatedly. Plus there's the added twist now of being able to think of the entire series as an AU of the Superman universe, if I so choose.

The CLex is dead. LONG LIVE THE CLEX.

(*cof* And yeah, I'll still be watching next season because, well. It's there.)

Open letter to Michael Rosenbaum: Yes, it's been seven more or less wonderful years. To be honest, those early, glory days of the CLex fandom seem like another lifetime. My attention has certainly waned recently, and the show's had its... ups and downs (to put it kindly), but your performance remains nothing short of legendary.

Eternal thanks for the greatest Lex Luthor that ever was or will be. Thank you for inspiring my (very minimal) artistic ability, re-awakening my bullet-proof drag kink, giving me my first slash OTP, and forcing me (happily) out of the RPS closet WAY before it was cool.

Thank you again for dragging your hungover-yet-still-unbelievably-charming self to Chicago on the morning after Tom's wedding to let a coupla fangirls stalk you for five unforgettable hours. (Elaaaaaaaaaine!!)

You've made a fan for life, whatever career path you choose or scary facial hair you attempt to grow. I can only hope that someday my TV screen will once again be graced with your presence on a weekly basis. Until then, may the force be with you.

No Rest For the Wicked: Never have I loved and admired a show this much and yet neglected it so consistently. Thank Jaga we get a season four, maybe I'll finally be able to fangirl over it properly.

ANYWAY, I must admit, when the boys decided to take on Lilith Winchester style, I was a bit disappointed we wouldn't get to see Sam doing his speshul demon thing as Ruby suggested. NOW, however... well we may just get to after all, it turns out. Poor Dean. And Freckles.

And yes, Bon Jovi DOES rock on occasion.

Meanwhile, 90210 WTF?
