Anyone fancy doing me a favor?

[Private to Arthur]
Tell me why I shouldn't kill whoever it is that murdered my inmate, won't you?

[Private to the Admiral]
Bring Jonathan Crane back to life immediately.

Do you really want to draw the attention to yourself after all of the recent "disciplinary" hearings? [It's not an actual question; HE KNOWS THE ANSWER'S NO.]

There's no form of law or control here. I can't predict it. I can't take steps against it.. not for Jonathan, not without telling him. We're not prepared for these kind of conditions.

It'll be inviting a headache.

Killing him won't do anything for your inmate. All it'll do is make you feel better and confirm to him that murder is okay as long as it's done in retaliation. [Pause.] Which means you're also lending validation to Iago and his motivations.

As far as I can tell, it wouldn't be a great idea if you want to get Crane to graduate. Setting him back for some short-term satisfaction is selfish.

He has to know that someone cares about him, Arthur. Jonathan. That's what he needs.

I have a feeling it'll be welcomed.

What is it that you need?

I believe our Inmates had an altercation.

You could call it that.

What punishment do you intend for him?

He's in zero as we speak. As for the rest -- I have not decided.

[And waking up from being killed. Crane turns his head and sees Eames. He's surprised, despite everything. Although he'll never admit it, it's nice to have some confirmation that Eames might be doing something beyond the realms of his job.]

Iago. [Crane managed to say.] It was Iago.

[Eames gave a nod, face entirely solemn. There was nothing happy about this and no sign of mocking or amusement was present in his expression or posture.]

"Come on." [He replied quietly, looping one arm beneath Crane's shoulders and around his back.] "Can you walk or do you need me to carry you?"

[Those were the options and Crane would not be arguing them. >:|] "I'll take care of him once you're settled."

I can- [Crane started to say, but hissed in pain and spent a second pressing his hands against his neck. The pain from where Iago had stabbed him was absolutely terrible.]

Where is he? [Crane finally gasped, leaning heavily against Eames. He wasn't really in the position to do more than go along with what Eames wanted.]

[Eames took most of Crane's weight, wrapping his other arm awkwardly around the front to help support better. It was more physical contact that he was sure his inmate was used to or comfortable with, but survival was paramount in his mind and he suspected Crane felt much the same; that meant pain reduction above discomfort.]

"I'm not certain. He's not here and I have a solution if it comes to it." [He, of course, meant the gun holstered at the small of his back.]
