The Mill

Just a quick update on Birmimgham... The Mill has closed. Please understand, over the past 2 years the food and service had become grim and I was regularly disappointed when it came to my experiences, but, none the less, it was sad to drive by this morning and realize that there would no longer be drunk Sunday mornings off cheap champagne and an ( Read more... )

I know - sadness. They announced it in church Sunday, and that's the first I had heard anything about them closing. Even though I didn't go there much, it's just kinda a part of southside, ya know? Wonder what will replace it?

I guess lots of people probably went there for brunch after church as well (opposed to after Race for the Cure).

The Passion anonymous February 4 2004, 07:04:17 UTC

I saw the trailer for the Passion movie today ... I was speechless. This movie is a must see.

The trailer of the crucifixion scene alone is a highly emotional piece and indeed it moved me very much.

I guess it kinda made me reflect on why we are here and what God's plan is for all of us - I mean, for God to send His Son to DIE for *us*.
*shakes head*

This movie is going to be incredible, I know it. I hope you all go and see it - tell your family and friends - do what I'm doing and spread the word, please. Why are we here? To know, love, and serve God. Maybe sometimes we need to re-evaluate our lives and focus on the big picture. God bless.

The Passion Of The Christ will be out on February 25th, 2004

The location still exists, it just won't be called "The Mill" anymore. You could now call it "the place where The Mill used to be" - let's just hope it doesn't turn into "McDonald's".

I know, but they didn't let you have Cheddar Ale last time you were there anyway... so you could tell that they were going down hill.

Miss you too, but gladto know what things are going well!

I'll try, I have high hopes.
