I do not like it baked, broiled, boiled, fried, cordon bleud, marsaled, fingered, chopped or hidden...
But, for some reason, Dave seems to think that if cooks it, I will eat it. The dialogue usually goes something like this...
Him: "I made Chicken (insert type here) for dinner, do you want some?"
Me: "No, but thanks for offering"
Him: "Why, you're not hungry?"
Me: "No, I'm just not a chicken fan"
Him: "Oh, I thought if I made chicken (insert type here), you would want some"
Me: "I just don't like chicken"
Him: "Not even chicken (insert type here)?
Me: " Not even chicken (insert type here)"
Him: "How can you not like chicken? EVERYBODY likes chicken"...
Me: "Well, that's what separates me from everybody. Pass the cereal!"
Sigh. It's sweet that he cooks, I just wish he'd believe me when I say that I don't like chicken.
