[I wrote this in about fifteen minutes on a Tuesday night. It is my first completed fanfiction.]
There were many things that Ellen could be quite sure of when she looked at Geoffrey.
She knew that she wanted to see his face every morning when she woke up. She also knew that sometimes she wanted to kill him.
She knew all the little things about him that drove her crazy in the best kinds of ways. The laugh lines around his eyes and mouth. His stubbly and almost bristly cheeks and chin. The way his hair seemed to have a mind of it's own. The deep dark circles beneath his eyes whenever he was tired. The way he would swipe his tongue over his lips or across his teeth when he was nervous, impatient, or just being himself...
She also loved his emotion. She loved how erratic he could become in a matter of seconds; she loved the way he would wave his hands about when he was being dramatic. She loved how articulate he became when he was angry. The way he would enunciate every syllable. She loved the fire in his dark blue eyes. Although she would never own up to it, she loved Geoffrey when he was furious. There was nothing more terrifyingly sexy than Geoffrey when he was angry.
She also loved him when he was passionate; when he really felt things. The way he would argue and rant until the other person was speechless and bending to his will. The way he felt so deeply about what he did. The way he felt about her.
She loved Geoffrey when they were alone. The way he whispered her name; his voice husky and feral. She loved it when he became suddenly romantic, and she loved it when he told her things that he wouldn't tell anyone else. She loved the way he would kiss her; so deeply it felt as if he were penetrating inside of her soul. She also loved the way he would make love to her; the way they would move sinuously, coming together in a tangle of limbs.
Oh Ellen was sure of a lot when it came to Geoffrey. But when it came to the most important important thing, she found herself wondering. How long would it last?
